Glenwood Landing is a hamlet and a census designated place (CDP) in the city of Oyster Bay, Nassau County, Long Island, New York. The population is approximately 3,779 residents and it falls in the 11547 zip code. The village covers an area of 1 square mile, all of it being land. Glenwood Landing is primarily in the town of Oyster Bay but a portion, the southwest corner, is in the town of North Hempstead. The eastern boundary of Glenwood Landing is on Hempstead Harbor. Shore Road parallels the harbor on the west side of the city. The Glen Head Station on the Oyster Bay line of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) is nearby, just outside the village boundary. It’s about a 45 minute drive to New York City by car. The children of Glenwood Landing are served by the highly sought after Northshore School District.
Restaurants and pharmacies can be found on the eastern edge of town lining up along Glen Cove Avenue.
