Selden is a delightful hamlet in the remarkable Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County in Long Island, New York. Selden was an agricultural community in the mid-18th century and was known as “Westfield” for a time. Daniel Roe Highway is named for Captain Daniel Roe, a captain in the French and Indian War who lived in the area.
