Garden City Park is a delightful hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) just north of Hempstead, Long Island, Nassau County, New York. Located in the town of North Hempstead, Garden City Park consists of 3.0 square miles, all of it being land. The population is approximately 7,806 residents and it’s in the 11040 zip code. Up until 1874, this area was known as Clowesville. The village is bisected north to west by Highway 25 also known as Jericho Turnpike. Hillside Avenue forms the northern border of the Village.
