Patchogue is a charming village in the remarkable Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County, on the south shore of Long Island, adjoining Great South Bay, New York. At the time of the 2010 census, the village had an approximate population of 11,798 residents. The Old Patchogue Theater for the Performing Arts, which originally opened in 1923, has been purchased and refurbished by the village. The renovated theater seats 1,266 occupants.
