Floral Park, an incorporated village, is located on Long Island, in Nassau County, New York. Floral Park could be considered a borough of Queens, but is situated squarely between Queens and Hempstead, and is actually in the town of Hempstead. The town consists of 1.4 square miles, all of it land and residents enjoy its close proximity to several other remarkable communities. The farm is replete with greenhouses, livestock, planting fields, orchards and herb gardens. Green Meadows Petting Farm is the perfect place for children and adults to have a hands-on experience with animals with pony rides and hayrides offered. Special events include a pumpkin patch in the fall and their Festival of Cultures in the spring.
