Polish Town Fair is held annually and is popular among community residents. Riverhead is the agricultural center of Long Island with 20,000 of its 35,000 acres of farmland located within Riverhead boundaries. Four separate beaches can be found in Riverhead which are open year-round. Three of the beaches,Iron Pier, Wading River, and Reeves beach each offer access to boating for both residents and visitors.
